"Experience within the industry provides invaluable benefits during engineering study and when seeking gainful employment.
AMOG provided me with this experience while undertaking the final two years of study which helped me approach university projects with a different perspective as well as leading to full time employment with this exciting and technically challenging company. My first vacation experience was for one month over the winter holiday period. During this time I worked on investigating the causes of failure of a wire rope. My second vacation employment was for the three month summer period during which my main task was working with another engineer to construct inspection plans and record documentation for all the subsea components of an offshore oil field.
After completing my Masters of Engineering, AMOG offered me a graduate position at the company which I was glad to accept."
Nick worked at AMOG's office in Melbourne as Vacation Student in the summer of 2012/13 and went on to complete the AMOG Graduate Program. He is now a Lead Engineer at AMOG and the Team Lead for the Process Engineeirng and Assurance team.
