In 2020, AMOG was engaged by INPEX Operations Australia Pty Ltd to deploy our Smart Mooring Integrity Checker (SMIC) solution for the Ichthys gas field floating facilities.

The AMOG-designed SMIC system was recently deployed live and rolled out at INPEX to monitor the mooring performance of the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel and the semisubmersible Central Processing Facility (CPF), located in the Browse Basin about 220kms offshore Western Australia.

SMIC provides INPEX a state-of-the-art ability to monitor the integrity of its floating facility's mooring systems in real time. By leveraging live cloud-based analytics of data gathered by existing instrumentation and monitoring systems AMOG's SMIC keeps a constant watch on the integrity status of the FPSO and CPF mooring systems and will provide real time alerts when suspected failures are identified. The secure SMIC online dashboard gives INPEX insight into the current performance of the mooring along with rapid comparisons to past performance.
