The NorthConnex project is providing twin motorway tunnels of approximately 9 km in length that will link the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills, removing around 5,000 trucks off Pennant Hills Road each day.

NorthConnex will be the longest road tunnel project in Australia. 

AMOG was contracted to provide the Safety Assurance support for the Operations Management and Control System (OMCS) of the tunnel. This included a Failure Modes Effect and Criticality Analysis, and identification of Safety Integrity Level requirements for the OMCS.
