The Aerospace Materiel System Program Office (AMSPO) identified the need to fully understand and control the risks associated with operating their equipment on 25 bases located around Australia.
AMSPO manages the ground support equipment for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). AMSPO identified the need to fully understand and control the risks associated with operating their equipment on 25 bases located around Australia and, more importantly, managing the interference of risk of their equipment with the RAAF fleet.
AMOG developed a streamlined process for conducting risk assessments and then delivered risk assessments on over 300 items of equipment. AMOG also developed a formal course and trained over 75 AMSPO personnel to maintain the risk assessments for their configuration items.
