We are pleased to announce that Moorsure has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) to provide a new offshore import terminal in West Africa.
Moorsure and AMOG (Moorsure Joint Venture Partner with OIL), had previously undertaken work on concept studies of the import and export systems for the refinery to select the most CAPEX efficient solution when balanced with the requirements of various project stakeholders. These Pre-FEED studies investigated more than 10 options (with many more not making the shortlist) and incorporated analysis of site selection criteria, terminal utilisation, pipeline and pump sizing, as well as other studies such as optimal pump rates and mooring designs. The concept selection also considered CAPEX, technical risk and complexity, cash flow, and expandability for future project phases.
Moorsure shall now commence the subsequent project phases including detailed engineering, procurement and installation oversight of two mooring systems, two pipeline systems and a facility wide telemetry and control system.
