AMOG is pleased to announce that we will be supporting BP on the riser verification of the Tortue/Ahmeyim Field Development Project.

BP’s Tortue/Ahmeyim field development project is a major Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project and is located offshore on the maritime border of Mauritania and Senegal. Total gas resources in the field are estimated to be around 15 trillion cubic feet and the total acreage, larger than 33,000 square kilometres, could contain a further 50 trillion cubic feet.

The Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project will produce gas from an ultra-deepwater subsea system and mid-water Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. AMOG will be providing independent global modelling and verification of the flexible risers and umbilicals connecting the seabed to the spread moored FPSO facility.
