Welcome to those who are attending ISOPE 2016 in Rhodes, Greece, this week (June 27). AMOG's Andrew Kilner (Senior Vice President, AMOG Consulting Inc) and Daniel Johnstone (Senior Engineer, AMOG Pty Ltd) will be presenting 2 papers as part of ISOPE's technical program.

Andrew Kilner will be presenting "Umbilical VIV Fatigue with Mode Amplitude and Mode Number Dependent Structural Damping" on Monday June 27 at 10:30am (Nefeli A), in Session 8: Subsea, Pipelines, Risers I - Subsea Umbilicals.

Daniel will be presenting "Fixed Structure Motion Measurement and Structural Damping Calculation" on Wednesday June 29 at 10:30am (Delphi), in Session 90: Ocean Technology VI - Jacket and Jack-up 2.

ISOPE is the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers and has members from more than 30 countries, and offices in the USA, Japan, Korea, China, the UK, and Norway. The ISOPE encompasses a variety of activities including technical conferences, publications, scholarship and professional recognition programs, continuing education, and international cooperation.

The primary objectives of the Society are:

  • To provide opportunities through its programs for interested individuals to maintain and improve their individual technical competence in these fields, for the benefit of the public and the interested engineers in these fields.

With participants from over 50 countries in attendance, the Annual International Offshore and Polar Engineering Conference is one of the world's largest conferences of its kind with refereed papers.
