AMOG is a provider of engineering support to clients across the Defence sector, including the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Australian Regular Army, Royal Australian Air Force RAAF), CASG and major Defence Prime Contractors. Our engineers have worked with submarines, naval and coast guard ships, landing craft, and land-based assets. We are familiar with and can operate within the standards specified by Defence and within an externally accredited AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management framework.

In addition to our through life and project support services in Safety/Risk Engineering, Naval Engineering, Technical Regulation and Acquisition Support, AMOG also supplies System Safety training to defence through the regular conduct of our specialist course for Air Force and ad hoc courses for Army and Navy Prime Contractors.

AMOG has the skills and expertise to support the Australian Space Industry, with launch, rocketry, and Major Hazardous Facility (MHF) assessments for highly volatile and explosive handling and storage. We have one of the largest Australian domestic System Safety teams in Australia to provide services in line with the Agency’s regulatory responsibilities including; analysis, modelling and simulation; autonomous systems; avionics and electronics systems; design and engineering services; information systems; software assurance for software SIL assessments; guidance for manufacturing, fabrication and assembly, and; systems safety and testing including Safety Management Systems to AS4292.

AMOG has a proven track record of working with global and multi-national organisations, as well as Defence Prime Contractors and the Directorate General Technical Airworthiness (DGTA) and Systems Program Offices (SPOs). Direct experience includes Risk Assessments and Profiles of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and Safe Targets for Weaponry. These skills and capabilities puts AMOG in good stead in supporting Australia’s Space endeavours.
